Welcome to my little slice of heaven, Flirting With Fiction! I run this little dream from my house, where my husband Garret and I juggle books, kids, and two very cuddly dogs. Here’s what that looks like most days:

Todd & Lito – My tiny but opinionated dogs (a cowboy corgi and a mini dachshund) who are always underfoot while I pack orders.

Sadie – My almost-five-year-old sidekick, who loves to “help” by adding extra stickers and keeping me company while I make bookmarks and pack up happy mail.

My bookstore had a physical storefront for awhile in downtown Vancouver, WA (and those days were SO lovely), but these days, you’ll find us online for now—still bringing all the best finds to readers (and shoppers) like you. Yes, we sell books—really whatever books catch my eye—but we’re more than just a bookstore. We’re a bright and happy little shop, full of things that bring joy. From fun boutique gifts to cute accessories and cozy must-haves, my store is a place to discover little treasures that make you smile.

Even without a storefront, we’re still actively out in the community with pop-ups, craft club meetups, and book clubs, making sure book lovers (and shopping lovers) have a place to connect, talk about whatever is on their mind, and find something that feels just right for them.
